The past three years have been full of trials and testing. Since the beginning of 2009, I have battled Lyme disease along with various other tick-borne illnesses. Although the road has been pretty rough, I have grown to treasure the lessons of trust, perseverance, and reliance that I've learned through pain. I would just like to say that I am in love with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I desire to honor Him in all areas of my life. I couldn't have made it through the past few years without Him.
I believe that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Through my writing and photography on this blog, I seek to offer my readers the hope and perspective with which God has blessed me in spite of the tough times I've faced. No matter what chaos, hurt, and confusion life may bring, God is always good. He always has been and always will be. Often we lose sight of that truth because we fail to realize that sometimes the greatest of God's blessings are the blessings in disguise.
May we all reach out and hold on to God's faithful hand, trusting that if He brings us to it, He'll bring us through it.
